1. Publisher and scope
Publisher: Mega Orbit
Public address: 2 County Ct Blvd, Brampton, ON L6W 3W8, Canada
Privacy: privacy@megaorbit.ca
Support: support@megaorbit.ca
This draft describes the reviewed Little Days Android prototype, version 0.1.0-research, package com.megaorbit.littledays, on September 28, 2026. It does not describe future billing, accounts or cloud features. Little Days is intended for adult caregivers, not children using the app.
Effective date: pending final release review. Publication for review is not legal approval, Play approval or an announcement of release.
2. Profiles, photos and widgets
You may enter a nickname or name and a birth date to calculate age using your device’s local calendar date. A photo is optional. Profiles and settings are stored in the app’s private storage.
Android’s system picker supplies a photo you choose. The app creates a resized JPEG copy, without copying the original file’s metadata. It does not modify or delete the original. It does not request broad photo-library, camera, contacts or location access.
Information you enable in a home-screen widget can be seen by others who can view your screen. You can hide the name, birth date or photo. Calendar milestones are not medical or developmental assessments.
3. Connections and services
The reviewed build has no app account, advertising, analytics service, developer-operated cloud storage or Internet permission. It does not automatically upload profiles to Mega Orbit. Android automatic app backup and device-transfer inclusion are disabled in the app configuration.
Device/platform services are separate from this app. These statements do not guarantee the behaviour of every service on your device. Opening a website or sending email uses another app and its services.
4. Manual export and restore
A backup you choose to export contains saved names, birth dates, settings and photo copies in an unencrypted file. Your selected document provider may store or upload it under its own practices. Choose a trusted destination and keep backups private.
Restore reads a file you select and adds local profiles. It may bring back data previously deleted from the app. Little Days cannot delete external backups or retract copies you shared.
5. Retention and deletion
Saved profiles remain until you delete them, clear local app data or uninstall. Deleting a saved profile removes its record and widget links, and attempts to delete its saved and current draft photo copies unless another saved profile uses them. Older unused imports can remain.
Clear all local data removes all profiles and attempts to delete all app-managed photo copies, including unused imports. Both controls require confirmation. They leave original photos and exported backups unchanged. If photo cleanup fails, the app reports remaining copies; retry or clear storage through Android settings. This is ordinary file deletion, not guaranteed forensic erasure.
Widgets refresh after deletion; remove a stale widget if refresh fails. Other open editors may retain unsaved drafts in memory. A draft cannot save a removed photo file, but explicitly saving remaining text can create a profile again. Close other editors when clearing all data.
Android Clear storage or uninstalling removes private app data. Manage backups separately through their document provider.
6. Website, email and requests
If you email us, we receive the address, message and attachments you choose to send. We use them to address your request. Do not send child photographs, birth dates, backup files or unnecessary identifying information.
We review closed support cases quarterly and normally delete ordinary support correspondence within 12 months after the case closes, sooner when it is no longer needed. Troubleshooting attachments are normally deleted within 30 days after resolution. We may keep relevant information longer when necessary for an unresolved request, dispute, security issue or legal obligation. These periods apply to support records under our control, including mailbox and forwarded copies; game-platform, payment-provider and hosting records have separate retention practices.
This website and email use separate infrastructure. See the website notice and hosting/mail provider disclosures, including outstanding account-specific processing and retention details.
For access, correction or deletion of support records, write to privacy@megaorbit.ca. We may need to verify the request before disclosing records. We cannot remotely access or delete your offline profile data; use the app’s local controls. Regional-rights and final release disclosures remain under review.
7. Changes and release review
We will review this notice and relevant store declarations before adding billing, accounts, cloud services or other data-handling features. Final release review, an effective date and an in-app policy link are still required. Little Days support explains current controls.
