Create a profile and widget
Enter a nickname and birth date, choose an age format, and optionally select a photo using Android’s system picker. Save the profile. Use the app’s pin request if supported, or find Little Days in your launcher’s Widgets menu. Choose which saved profile the widget should display.
Tap an existing widget to configure it. Widgets linked to the same profile share its saved style choices. The learning build supports up to ten local profiles; all included layouts are free and no paid upgrade is offered.
Age, refresh and sizing
Age uses the phone’s local calendar date. Monthly anniversaries clamp to the last valid day of a short month, then return to the original day in later months. Milestones are calendar anniversaries, not developmental predictions.
Android can delay refreshes during battery saving or after a force-stop. Check the phone’s date/time, open the app and save the profile if the widget is stale. Exact midnight updates are not promised.
Photo widgets narrower than 220 dp use a compact text layout. Resize taller or wider if large fonts do not fit. Physical launcher, overnight and accessibility checks remain in progress.
Export and restore safely
Export saves your saved profiles, settings and photo copies to an unencrypted JSON document at a destination you choose. Your document provider may upload it. Keep the file private; do not attach it to support emails.
Restore adds new profiles rather than replacing existing ones and does not restore launcher placement. The total must stay within ten profiles. Repeated imports can create duplicates. Back up before clearing storage or uninstalling if you want to keep the information.
Delete local information
Use Delete saved profile to remove the selected saved record and its widget links. It attempts to remove that profile’s saved and current draft photo copies unless another saved profile uses them. Cancel leaves the data unchanged.
Clear all local data requires a separate confirmation and attempts to remove all profiles, widget mappings and app-managed photo copies, including older unused imports. Original photos and exported backups are not deleted. Close other open editors so their unsaved text drafts are not saved again.
If cleanup reports remaining copies, retry Clear all local data, or use Android’s app settings to clear Little Days storage. Remove any stale launcher widget if refresh fails. Deletion cannot be undone without a backup; it is not a forensic secure-erasure guarantee.
